Let's Break it down - Christmas 2009 - Mega Post

Christmas Eve - Aunt Stefie & Uncle G treated all 20 of us to a movie and then dinner at the Pie! Yummy. We had so much fun and just love being together! Thanks so much you guys!

two little Bff's!

Madelyn could not believe the size of the pizza - it reminded her of her dad's favorite show. Man-vs-food.

Izabel gets tons of love from the family! It is so sweet!

The whole group minus Natalie - she flew in that night around 10:30 we missed you! You can't see Jacob because he was on the outside of the glass - darn it! G, you got to help us out with this picture.
later that evening we then went on over to Joey's sister house Kelly for some family time. It is always so much fun being with Joey's brother's & sisters. Always a good laugh.

Jami & I showing off our smiles! Love you Jami!

We then rushed home and did our own family thing before Santa arrived. The traditional new Christmas Pj's

Open one present - thank you Aunt Angela - we love the book!

Hang our magical key on the door, so Santa can come in the house

put out our cookies for Santa and "Christmas milk" AKA egg nog. I love the picture Madelyn drew for him. I asked her if she wanted to write a letter and she said "no, I already told him, he knows what I want". Adorable.

Then off to bed and Madelyn actually fell right to sleep.

Christmas Morning - In the morning Joey & I woke around 6 because we we were so excited, but Madelyn didn't wake till 8:45 and we finally woke Izabel. So I finished cleaning the house, got ready made breakfast and read - it was a lovely morning. I love feeling the calm before the storm on Christmas morning.
Looks like Santa came to our house! We got a new mino HD flip video camera - awesome and we recorded Madelyn seeing her stocking for the first time and it had her bird house in it and she would have been satisfied stopping right there and not opening any more gifts it made her that happy. She also couldn't believe that Santa knew what her favorite candy bar was! We recorded Izabel being woken up and she just shock her head sucked her thumb and laided back down. It was very cute! I love the new recorder!
Izabel checking out her new little car- she can only go backwards - she is to little to be able to do that!
We would like to Thank Crayola.com right now for making this Christmas possible and making shopping so easy on me. I bought everything you could buy for my girls - seriously. Three HUGE boxes were delivered to my door. So big we couldn't fit them through the door when they arrived. They were chuck full of fun Crayola stuff. Izabel got the most amazing baby toys from them and Madelyn has not stopped creating since Santa came! We love Crayola at our house.

I thought for sure Izabel would just like to play with wrapping paper, but she could have cared less she was into all the toys. It was so cute she got the whole thing of unwrapping and playing.

One of Joey's big gifts were all 11 Star Trek movies on Blu-ray to go along with his new 58" TV, which turned out that Matt Draper was our Christmas miracle of helping us get our TV home for us. We owe you Matt! Joey could not believe that I bought those for him! Love you babe! He said to me "you don't like these movies" and my response was "you are the one watching them". Anyone want to join Joey in a marathon?
Joey got me a new 32g i-touch! I LOVE IT! my 5 year old ipod just isn't working for me anymore. I was so happy to get this! He got me the cutest case ever for it! Love you!

After the dust settled

Madelyn and all her gifts

We got them a fur real puppy and you would have thought they got the real deal playing with this puppy. Izabel just loves this thing.

We then had awesome visitors of my mom and dad come to our home and enjoying a yummy breakfast and playing with our toys and doing presents with them! We love you thanks for coming.

We bought Madelyn the coolest race track ever - three little monkeys is our new favorite toy store. I grew up with this Darda race track. My dad had so much fun putting it together and then we raced our cars on it. This is the coolest Later that morning we got ready and went and saw our cute little 90 year old Peruvian Grandma- she is so precious! She LOVES these Watts boys! They spoil her rotten too! She is blind and it is quite sad but we love every moment we get to be with her!

Grandma feeling Izabel's face to get to know her

We then ran over to my mom & dad's house for Christmas dinner. They got this awesome painting of the Salt Lake Temple doors and come to find out my Great Grandfather carved all the Salt Lake doors. My Grandmother was there and told the story and I think it is so cool that I learned that story and now the doors mean so much more to me!I love that my wedding pictures are taken in front of these doors! The painting is gorgeous and the artist signed the painting for my parents!
We had a good time and the girls got some really cute gifts. Madelyn got a reversible princess cape and a pink moon pillow - Madelyn loves Grandma's yellow moon pillow so my mom made all the grandkids pillows and that was the best gift - the homemade gift.

me and my family!

It was a wonderful Christmas day and can I just say how much I love my sweet husband and all he does for me and for my wonderful parents and my precious girls! I am so blessed!
Post Christmas Day
We took Madelyn to see "Princess & the Frog" and it was so cute! I think Joey & I enjoyed it more then Madelyn it is such a good show. For sure a new Disney Classic! We can't wait to see what Disneyland does with the New Orleans section!
We then went and had Christmas celebration with Joey's Dad, it is always so much fun. Us kid will show up and stay for HOURS and have so much fun together. We had such a yummy dinner and Grandma Linda does it all. She won't accept help and she takes such good care of us. Thank you Grandma Willie! Of course the grand kids got spoiled again! It is so much fun to be together because we have so many girls in this family and all the same age and they all play so well together.
Look at all those gifts! These kids are so good and wait till Grandma gives them the go ahead for opening gifts.

Grandma & Grandpa Willie give matching Pj's for all the kids every year and she even found some Izabel size! They are so adorable with owl's on them! We love them!

the traditional Pj picture with all the kids. Cute little Tanner is such a good sport for being the only boy among all these girls. Him and Ashley are so cute together. They are best friends!
Uncle Andy wants Izabel to walk. I stopped that really fast! She has the rest of her life to walk- why rush it? Right Andy? Iza loves her Andy now!
We had to get a picture of Izabel with some of her gifts that she got from everything in the basket and on the floor- what is so cute is she actually plays with them.
Joey & I bought the new Super Mario Bros for the Wii and every chance we get we are playing it. We have been staying up past midnight all weekend long playing and finally because I got a blister on my thumb I went to bed early. It is such a fun game!
Sunday - we got to have our Omer dinner with Natalie in town and it is always a good time being with my Omer sisters! I love them! Yummy food and awesome company and that is our Christmas Holiday in a nut shell! We had a wonderful Christmas!
I had the opportunity to drop off a sub for Santa our awesome ward did for a family and that is one of the neatest things I have ever experienced in helping in! I just have to say how much I love my church!

Christmas Sing A long & Work Party

Oh Boy was that sing a long packed full of people! I have never seen that many people in my life come to the sing along at the ESA and I have gone since I was 18! We had a good time besides all the craziness surrounding the whole thing! John Schmidtt was awesome and it was fun singing those songs. Thanks to a wonderful hubby who dropped us off at the door because of my dad - stood in line 45 minutes to get us hotdogs, left to pick up the car and sat for probably 20 minutes the whole night! Love you babe! We had plans to meet all these people there but because of so many people it didn't happen. We are so glad that the Spencer's saved us a spot! Thank you Thank you! We then took my parents to see the cool house that plays to music. It was a good way to end the night.

Last night we got to go to dinner with some people from Joey's office at Biaggi's and it was wonderful! My gosh we haven't laughed that hard in a long time! He works with some really great guys! I then got to take Joey to see the huge Christmas Tree that changes colors. It was so fun to walk the Gateway with him and just talk and be together! Thanks mom and dad for watching the girls for us. We love you so!

Symphony with Santa & Christmas Dresses

I took the girls with my friend and her adorable boys to see the "Symphony with Santa". It was AMAZING and so much fun! Once a year they allow children to the symphony and this it is. This will be a yearly tradition in our home now. (Daddy was still stuck in North Carolina from the horrible storm so he couldn't go!!) It was fun dressing the girls up and Madelyn got to pick out matching dresses for her and Izabel to go to the Symphony! These are Madelyn's Symphony clothes as she puts it. She didn't want to wear her Christmas dress - what diva! We had such a good time! They got to meet a Santa's helper and she asked for the same thing again... a bird house she could paint.
We also got to meet "The Maestro". She thought Miss Anne would be so excited for her! You got to make musical instruments before the show and then during two of the songs the kids get to play along with the symphony! Adorable!
We picked to sit on the 3rd tier right up front - best seats in the house if you ask us. Izabel enjoyed the music more then Madelyn I think. She sat on my lap listening so good and clapping the whole time! Watch out Music class Izabel is coming!

We want these two to be married! It was so cute Ethan had to put a tie on for Madelyn!
We said our goodbyes because cute little Ollie had to take a nap. I thought since us girls are looking all dressed up and nice we headed down to the "Garden Restaurant" to see the Temple from up high and eat a nice lunch. We had such a fun time being together on ours girls day out!
That night we went to see the house with Santa in the window and the lights light up to music you tune your radio too - love it!
Then slept under the tree - at 12:30 in the morning we got a wonderful surprise! Daddy made it home finally!!! I headed off to bed and Joey slept under the tree with Madelyn. I love my bed to much to sleep on the floor :) Margo do you notice the frog? It is attached to Madelyn now! Thank you!
Our Christmas dresses! Oh how I love them so! They look so beautiful in them!

One of Madelyn's favorite things right now is to play the piano with Izabel. It is adorable!

Madelyn is singing while Izabel "plays the piano". It is pretty funny to listen to these two. Madelyn comes up with some pretty crazy songs.

For all the comments and phone calls about the curling iron. The brand is called "her style". You can go to their website herstyle.com to learn about them and buy from them but the curling iron for Madelyn runs over a $100. Madelyn's size is called "baby curls". My SIL found it for $45 on amazon and I found mine on Amazon for $95 when it sells for well over $200. Good luck and you will NOT regret it. Seriously! It is sooo hot it comes with a hot glove so you don't burn your hand and it is negative ions so it wont cause split ends! It is awesome. It took me less then 15 minutes to do Madelyn's hair like this and it stays like this ALL day with NO hairspray! I should work on their sales team!

Dance Performance 09

Are little dancing queen! She did so good for her last performance of the year! We are so proud of you Madelyn! She looked so beautiful and so excited to go dance and be with her little friends!

The famous Miss Mo! We love her so much!
Daddy is out of town! He never travels but when it rains it pours and now he is stuck out of town because of the snow storm in North Carolina. We are hoping he can make it home by Sunday! We recorded her dancing so daddy can watch it all. We miss you daddy!
Grandpa & Grandma came to see our little dancing queen!
my brother in law Andy bought this curling iron for his little girls, because he is a single daddy and wanted his little girls looking adorable all the time and it is amazing! Then my sweet sister in law Emers found it on line for me for 1/2 the cost so I bought it and it is amazing. It took me 20 minutes to do Madelyn's hair like this and this is what it look likes after 8 hours! No joke! And barely using any hair spray. Last time I curled Madelyn's hair like this it took me 2 hours! This is done with the smallest barrel. I bought me the 1" barrel and I love doing my hair curly now! Thanks Andy & Emily - the credit goes to you!

Snowman & Temple Square

It finally snowed "snowman snow"! Madelyn & I along with a little friend made this adorable snowman. She couldn't have been happier. She hugs it everyday and makes sure it is still there in the morning! It makes me happy! We went and saw the lights at Temple Square. It is so magical there! All those lights are amazing and what fun thing to do as a family! Thought this picture turned out pretty cool - not on purpose. We are loving this time of year! It has been so nice and relaxing!

We over dressed Madelyn and by the end of the night, her hat & gloves were off. The weather was so nice - being December and all.

9 Months Old!

Our sweet Wittle Izabel turned 10 months old. She is growing up so fast! She is just the sweetest baby we know! She is such a happy baby. I get comments all the time of how they never hear her cry! She still cries sometimes with men but she is doing much better. We are still working on it. She still will fall asleep in my arms and let me cuddle her, she always has the biggest smile on her little face, and is such a good sleeper!
Here are the monthly traditional pictures.
What are some of the things Izabel is doing now? She is growing the longest eyelashes known to man! Madelyn has amazing eye lashes too but these flare to the side!
She loves to clap, play patty cake, give "high 5's" & wave "HI" - it is adorable! She loves to click her tongue also and will copy it anytime you do it. She is talking A LOT more now. Before it was quite sporadic. She says mama, dadda and a lot of other baby babble.
She is more in love with her sister now then ever! They are best friends. Madelyn keeps asking for bunk beds. I can't wait for them to share rooms. She is ALWAYS cold on her legs so she is now sporting baby legs 24/7. Thank goodness I know how to make them.

Dr visit check up!
She is just a tiny little baby. She weighs 17 lbs 4 oz - 23%, she only gained 1lb in 3 months. She is 78% for her height and her head is 52%. So we have a little string bean. She is healthy as can be and is ahead of schedule developmentally. I am not as worried anymore. This girl can pound the food. Eat everything and anything that we give her and still nurses 5 times a day. She is just an active child! She has to keep up with Madelyn, that is for sure!
Madelyn loves to help her climb up the stairs. There favorite past time right now. Madelyn just giggles the whole time and cheers her on.
We love you Izabel! We are so grateful Heavenly Father gave you to us! What a blessing you are to our home!

I am now a proud holder of Season tickets to the "Capital Theatre". I just love musicals, can't get enough of them. I am so blessed to have a best friend & her husband -Stef & Garrick who help feed my love for my shows with all the plays and performances they are in. My friend Erin invited me to get season tickets with her and I was all for it. We got to go see our first show "Wedding Singer". It was wonderful! The show was just like the movie with fun songs and awesome 80 music. Erin & I had a blast and had some good laughs. We had to laugh that we showed up with our hair the exact same way!
I made my 2nd turkey in my life and can I just say it looked beautiful and it tasted amazing! Thanks mom for the pep talk. Waking up at 4 in the morning to start it so it could cook long and slow for 12 hours.
I wish I would have gotten a picture of Izabel in this adorable Santa outfit she wore to church with her hair bow and everything but when I finally remembered she was sound asleep in daddies arms. She looked so stinking cute!

Snow Day

Yesterday I woke at my normal time of 5 to go to work and my MDX is in the shop and there was no way I was going to drive Joey's TL into the office (Joey had the day off). So my sweet friend Sarah saved the day and came and picked me up an hour later we were at my office -which should only have been a 15 minute drive. We got there and then it was declared a snow day! Yes so after a couple of hours we got to go home! I was so excited to play in the snow with Madelyn! We made Snow Angels, ate snow, played "can you find me by my tracks", went on an icicle hunt, ate the iceles, got the sled out, we brought snow inside for Izabel to feel and eat and she loved it and just tons of fun playing. Not good snow for a snow man so we are praying for that right now! We LOVE snow days!
